Norwich Writers’ Circle member Thelma Macfarlane has been featured in the Eastern Daily Press promoting her story The Moving Cliff.

The story, written from a child’s point-of-view, centres on a girl called Flo who lived on the coast with her grandma. After the grandma’s house is claimed by the sea the duo then go on to make a new home for themselves in an upside down ship.

In the EDP article Thelma discusses how the timely tale has been around for over 30 years, and how it has been read many times to school children and various young family members.

The NWC member goes on to say that she has created a spiral bound version of the book, featuring illustrations created by Thelma. The author also says that she is currently seeking to publisher for the tale, and would love to see it in school libraries across the country.
