November Manuscript Evening

On 20th November Norwich Writers’ Circle held another one of its popular Manuscript Evenings in a packed Sexton Room at The Assembly House.

The meeting, designed to give both members and visitors an opportunity to read out their work out loud and receive feedback, featured a selection of scripts. The range of work read aloud varied from poetry to travelogue, and short stories to humorous anecdotes. Several of the manuscripts read during the course of the evening lead to lively discussions within our writing group.

Please note, that due to the UNESCO City Of Literature reception being held at Blackfriars Hall on 4th December, which will be attended by some of our committee members, plus Amanda Addison, the adjudication of Competition One will not begin until approximately 8.30pm.

Before Amanda’s competition adjudication begins, we will be holding another Manuscript Evening, so please bring along some of your work, if you wish to read it aloud from 7.30pm onwards.

We hope to see you there.
